Sales Representative (Central Greece region)

Sales and Marketing Europe serves both large and mature developing markets, supported by strategically located production assets and terminal infrastructure. Within this structure, the Mediterranean region encompasses Yara Hellas, which brings together the company’s activities across Greece, the Balkans, Cyprus, and the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance across your region to achieve the annual targets for Yara’s full product portfolio, including both standard and biological solutions
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring that the commercial setup in your area supports sustainable growth, strong market presence, and long‑term business continuity
- Provide valuable market insights by sharing updates on competitors, sales forecasts, financial trends, and ideas that support marketing strategies and new product development
- Coordinate with the sales network to ensure that customer orders can be fulfilled smoothly and according to agreed Incoterms (FCA/CPT)
- Monitor customer payments to help achieve the company’s credit‑day targets and maintain healthy financial discipline
- Assess customers’ financial standing and communicate relevant updates to the credit management team to keep customer records accurate and up to date
- Execute Yara’s commercial strategy within your assigned geographical area, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in the fertilizer sector or similar agricultural industries (e.g., agrochemicals)
- Strong knowledge of the Greek agricultural market, including crops, farming practices, and customer needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively within a team
- Solid agronomic expertise, enabling you to support customers and provide informed recommendations
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong negotiation abilities, combined with collaboration, communication, adaptability, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed
