Plant Environment & Facilities Specialist

Responsibilities

Product Quality & Environment

-   Be a representative of Yara Thailand as product quality to work with overseas colleagues regarding quality issues with products and materials.

-   Lead, control and collaborate with HESQ on waste & scrap management.

-   Lead life cycle packaging quality management.

-   Lead and develop solutions to eliminate environmental hazards.

-   Manage and implement measures to control noise, dust, and silt to ensure minimal environmental impact.

-   Perform research and report findings on the current environmental conditions.

-   Conduct or oversee environment impact assessments of new projects or changes to existing projects.

-   Control waste and scrap budget.

Office Facilities

-   Manage plant facilities and liaise with landlord to ensure effective operation of the facilities

-   Purchase and maintain plant office facilities’ supplies and refreshment.

-   Be a Yara’s first point of contact for office facilities related matters.

-   Control and manage office facilities budget.

Administration and Support

-   Manage annual local signboard tax and factory license as well as factory license renewal. 

-   Assist and coordinate internal and external parties as to Plant’s community events e.g., trainings, external guest visit, and CSR around plant’s premise etc.

-   Petty cash control and management.

-   Support transportation arrangement.

Profile

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in related fields. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
  • Relevant 2-3 years of related work experience from plant would be advantage.
  • Previous experience in environment management, budget control, and project management.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Good spoken and written English skill
