Yara Africa & Asia (YAA) produces, sells, distributes and markets fertilizers and industrial products across Asia Pacific and Africa regions, with offices location and operational units in 20 countries. Responsibilities

Coordinate vessel/container shipments with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient delivery.
Analyze barge shipment plan to ensure cost-effective and efficient transportation.
Ensure a high standard of product quality within logistics.
Manage all logistics service providers (shipping agent, surveyor, barge providers, stevedore) in close cooperation with procurement: find new, maintain relationship, evaluate.
Track and report on key performance indicators & OKRs related to logistics.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to logistics.
Submit all required reports to government agencies.
Identify and address any problems that may arise in logistics.
Resolve all logistics related complaints such as product quality and delivery delays
Maintain SOPs for logistics.
Initiate operational excellence activities within logistics.
Prepare preliminary analysis to enable decision-making for container or vessel.
Liaise closely with YMM Operations team in the export from TH and import into MM of finished product.
Prepare sales contract between YMM and YTH.
Keep control, initiate purchase & scheduling on YMM dedicated inventory (bags/product) within Thailand.

Profile

Education and Experience

• A bachelor's/master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field or equivalent by experience. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management, bulk shipment experience is advantage

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to logistics and supply chain operations

• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and database management software

Additional Information

Fluent in English. Knowledge of Thai is preferred.
Driving must be expected
Willingness to travel and visit warehouses as and when required
