Yara Belle Plaine is a world class producer of nitrogen fertilizer located 50 kms west of Regina on highway #1. Responsibilities

We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and materials management operations, ensuring efficient processes, strong supplier partnerships, and high-quality service delivery across the organization.

Lead procurement and warehouse teams, ensuring effective operations, inventory control, and service to internal customers
Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and contract management to achieve best value (quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability)
Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractor management standards, and HESQ requirements
Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives, aligning with corporate strategies and systems
Collaborate with maintenance, projects, and central procurement to support operational needs
Monitor inventory, surplus disposal, and warehouse practices
Provide leadership through coaching, performance management, and team development
Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment

Education, Experience & Skill

Bachelor's Degree or Professional Designation related to Procurement with several years of practical experience.
Strong experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of procurement systems and continuous improvement practices
