Regional Marketing Manager

AGORO Carbon Alliance addresses a key global problem, the impact of agriculture’s global greenhouse gas emissions on our climate and the implementation of sustainable carbon capturing potential at farm. A bit about the role:

 

As Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching the Agoro Carbon’s brand and laying the foundations for success in the Indian market. You will work to craft and shape a message that inspires growers to join us in the transition to sustainable practices, and devise effective strategies to bring this message to them. Your success will be measured by the number of farmers that enroll in our carbon initiatives, committing to adopting sustainable farming practices and reducing GHG emissions.

You will be responsible for driving strategies, developing campaigns and value propositions, coordinating content marketing and communications activities, managing on- and offline marketing channels, and executing the local marketing plan.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Develop holistic marketing strategies and tactics through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create branded value propositions aligned with growers’ local needs
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement farmer- and channel-oriented growth marketing activities for early-stage innovation and subsequent growth stages, overseeing execution and optimization across multiple channels based on needs and efficiency.
  • Amplify results with your extensive understanding of on- and offline marketing channels.
  • Drive the development of creative and compelling promotional materials, website and social media content, advertisements, company-wide events, and other marketing-related projects.
  • Tailor all initiatives to your local market while ensuring alignment with our overall global brand and messaging.
  • Find new and relevant ways to reach growers and maximize the number of farmers enrolling in our carbon solution initiatives.
  • Track and analyze the execution and effectiveness of campaigns to measure success, adjusting marketing campaigns and strategies as needed.
  • Communicate reports on relevant data, benchmarking, feedback, and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate PR activities, assess and suggest speaking opportunities to increase brand awareness in the local media
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, global corporate branding and external agencies and use resources to create engaging on- and offline messaging, content, and marketing assets.
  • Manage the marketing and communications budget and activities for the Indian business unit

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
  • At least five years’ experience in marketing in the agriculture space, including experience of launching new offers to farmers.
  • Experience defining strategies, developing and implementing campaigns, and coordinating communications activities across various online and offline channels.
  • First-hand experience in farmer growth marketing, AgTech, sustainability, and farm innovation is an advantage.
  • A history of using digital channels, products, and services in the agriculture sector is a plus, as is experience working with design and product teams.
  • Able to work independently on both strategic and operational tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Other languages are a plus.
