Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees. 

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit – now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) – 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

  • Take ownership for the full HR operations
  • Align proactively with the global HR services function to ensure that policies are consistent across the hub and global.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Strategy team to coordinate adhoc activities as needed.
  • Act as a single window to control all procurement activities for the office setup and ensure compliance with global guidelines.
  • Maintain good knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with local HR / legal department as needed/required
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring compliance globally
  • Provide operational HR-support to selected teams as required by the business, liaising with local HR for implementation in countries outside India
  • Act as point of contact for the Finance, Legal, HR, HESQ and Ethics and Compliance Departments, supporting the teams in these areas as required.


  • Past experience overseeing a dynamic, complex administrative, HR and Recruitment environment of a quickly growing team or organisation.
  • Relevant India-specific, HR qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience and strong references. 
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with often conflicting timelines and priorities. 
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is a must. Knowledge of other languages an asset.
