Yara Farming Solutions, will lead the transformation towards more sustainable and efficient food production, by innovating our offerings and the way we work. Crop and Digital Solutions (Portfolio within Yara Farming Solutions) is responsible for developing and scaling new “on-farm” digital and integrated tools and solutions for an efficient and transparent food system. We believe that Yara Farm and Field Data Platform is a step in that direction to help shape future tools from Yara. This platform is a unified data store, data science and analytics processing and API serving platform that shall be used by stakeholder across Yara Farming Solutions. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and Software Engineer to develop, construct, test and maintain data collection process. 

• Support data governance to ensure the data is collected, stored and processed as per industry practices

• Support product teams in event tracking governance

• Support the development, testing and implementation of event tracking and code when necessary.

• Program primarily in JavaScript (TypeScript, ReactJS, ReactNative, NextJs)

Profile

Profile 

• Good understanding of and experience coding with Javascript - from VanillaJS to libraries and frameworks (NodeJS/ReactJs/Express).  

• Comfortable working with our tools: AWS, Github, CircleCI, Jira, Kubernetes 

• Aligned with our principles: agile, customer-centric, lean, service-oriented architecture, self-organisation, transparency.

• Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working 

• Experience of working with cross-geography teams.
