HR Advisor

HR Advisor is a subject matter expert for People Resourcing processes. People Resourcing team is responsible for the whole lifecycle of Yara employee and covers six main services, namely Recruitment, Onboarding, Employer Brand Management, Separation Management, Employee Retention Management and Workforce Management. In addition to efficiently and effectively supporting managers and employees with their enquiries and concerns, they interact with customers to address their business needs through People Resourcing processes.

 

HR Advisor manages the employee entry (recruitment and onboarding) and exit (separation and offboarding) processes from an end-to-end perspective by providing managers, employees and candidates with a positive and consistent candidate and employee experience. HR Advisor supports the Team Manager, closely cooperating with relevant stakeholders and take on additional responsibility (related to e.g., analytics, reporting, recruitment of senior positions, driving projects and initiatives, upskilling other members of the team). They assess employee brand perceptions and develop employer branding activities to attract future target groups based on external market insights and internal analysis. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively support employees and managers with their enquiries 
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process in line with local processes and legislation and with special focus on senior level positions
  • Design, develop, deploy, and review recruitment training for hiring managers
  • Deliver a positive, transparent and consistent candidate experience throughout Recruitment and Onboarding processes 
  • Responsible for initiating onboarding: planning welcoming sessions, managing the new hire data in relevant systems, supporting managers in evaluating new hires
  • Running candidate experience surveys and taking appropriate actions based on this and other relevant data analytics, drive the development of retention processes 
  • Ensure the active promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion through People Resourcing processes
  • Drive accurate and efficient data management in adherence to GDPR and local HR compliance     
  • Analyze external market standards and improvement potentials, also develop, execute and evaluate effectiveness of employer branding activities via suitable events/platforms 

Profile

  • Relevant degree-level education and minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in HR
  • Experience working with and recruiting IT roles, such as UX Designer, UX Researcher, Software Engineer etc. will be an advantage
  • Expertise in core employee lifecycle such as workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, retention, offboarding and diversity management
  • Experience working with recruitment selection tools, data analytics tools and HR Information Systems (SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment module is a plus) 
  • Strong recruiter with good knowledge of GDPR and HR compliance, excellent interviewing and coaching skills
  • Sound understanding of the business and its impact on People Resourcing in addition to market insight and its impact on the business
  • Strong networking, collaboration and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to optimize and harmonize processes
  • Ability to transform high-level ideas into concrete solutions and evaluate the effect of the implementation across the region
  • Fluent in English and German, both verbal and written communication - a must
