HR Business Partner (f/m/d)

About the Unit

Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees. 

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit – now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) – 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe. 

We are an international team of engineers, scientists, researchers, designers and agronomists working together to achieve Yara’s goal to responsibly feed this world and protect the planet. Join us in building new digital products and services to create value for stakeholders across the agricultural ecosystem. 


You will:

  • Proactively drive all HR related issues in the Berlin Hub of Yara Digital Farming.
  • Work on tailored management and implementation of global people practices into the local business reality.
  • Collaborate to create and implement change management efforts in different business units and roll out effective people management practices amongst leaders, people managers & employees.
  • Drive the adoption of company values for a positive company culture and an inclusive work environment.
  • Run HR projects around Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Talent Development and Legal topics.


You're a fit if you:

  • Have relevant business partner experience, including a proven track record of successful project delivery, coaching of senior leaders, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solve complex challenges creatively and with perseverance.
  • Have confident knowledge of German labor law and have experience working with unions.
  • Communicate clearly, manage expectations and create transparency around processes and policies.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, and inform people in an efficient, productive manner while focusing on key priorities.
  • Speak fluent German and English.
