Product Manager Sales Engagement (f/m/d)

About Agoro

As part of the global transformation of food production towards more transparency and sustainability, Yara has set carbon optimization and climate action as key strategic priorities. Optimizing how cropland is managed will make a substantial contribution to environmental sustainability and lowering global agriculture greenhouse gas emissions. From carbon sequestration to avoidance or reduction in farm level emissions, Yara is launching a new business venture centred around farm sustainability and the decarbonization of the food chain.

The Agoro Carbon Alliance will address agriculture’s global greenhouse gas emissions and turn the farm level carbon reduction potential into a sustainable growth business, help to optimise farm operations, and provide new income streams to farmers worldwide. Our passion lies in collaborating with industry partners building a global carbon alliance to help farmers reduce their environmental footprint at scale. As one of the early movers in this market, we are using our knowledge on carbon practices, our global presence, our digital and data capabilities and our strong relationships with the food value chain to pioneer an industry shaping business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision & strategic mission for the sales engagement & customer relationship management team
  • In close collaboration with Country, Sales and Marketing teams identify opportunities to help our sales teams maximize the efficiency of grower interactions and increase conversation rates in the sales funnel
  • Lead the development of the strategic roadmap of the business-critical capabilities within the Agoro Carbon Platform and own the end-to-end process from ideation to technical implementation and tracking
  • Work hands-on in a team with User Researchers, Designers and Engineers to implement and build a visionary solution that augments the human interactions with a grower and optimizes the reach per sales rep
  • Be responsible for managing the product backlog, ensure its delivery and monitor performance
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers to define, improve and champion best practices, methodologies and processes within the product teams
  • Manage cross-functional teams and communicate status, timeline, risks, delays, and the overall progress to key stakeholders

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or related discipline
  • Passion for sustainable farming, industry expertise and working experience in agriculture
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive and passion to solve farmer problems
  • A demonstrated desire to build products that customers love
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively in order to pioneer innovative AgTech solutions
  • Strong result orientation, personal drive and pro-activeness
  • Experience in implementation and adaptation of CRM systems
  • A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition
  • Ready to make an impact, take ownership and execute with conviction
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in ambiguous and uncertain environments
  • Strong communication capabilities and ability to influence stakeholders, build networks across the organization and across cultures
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills, who enjoys working in diverse, fast-paced start-up environment
  • Working experience with agile development methodologies
