HR Service & Payroll Specialist

About the Unit
As HR Service & Payroll Specialist you are part of the HR Department in which the HR Service organization is the backbone of the HR area, providing HR services to the employees as the primary customer group. The HR Service & Payroll Specialist handles the payroll process and other HR-related processes of Yara in Brussels, in close collaboration with external providers and internal units.
She/ he reports to the Team Lead HR Service. The staffing is circa 270 employees from 35 different nationalities.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of a corporate culture in which health, safety and environment are put forward by everyone
- Run payroll processes (both local and international); Reconciliate payroll output with accounting
- Support immigration administration (In close collaboration with external supplier)
- Advise staff in payroll, tax and social security related matters and on internal policies.
- Time registration super user; HRIS super user; HR-reporting
- Create & calculate job offers and simulations
- Provide high quality service to the employees: in person, on the phone, via mail, on the web
- Handle, answer questions and give counseling regarding HR policies, payroll, vacation, travel activities, etc.
- Give support in setting up and implementing various HR projects
Profile
- Degree in Human Resources or Law
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools, including Sharepoint and payroll tools like eBlox and Protime
- Stress resilient
- Autonomous and pro-active self-starter
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French
- At least 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in an international environment.
