Sales Manager Benelux (AdBlue)

Yara Industrial Solutions (YIS) is a global business unit within Yara International, delivering essential nitrogen-based solutions to industries worldwide. Within YIS, Transport Reagents is responsible for Yara's global AdBlue® business, helping customers reduce harmful NOx emissions and comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
As the world's leading producer of AdBlue®, Yara supplies customers across Europe and beyond through an extensive production, logistics, and distribution network. Our success is built on strong customer partnerships, operational excellence, and a commitment to sustainability.
To strengthen our commercial position in the region, we are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager Benelux, reporting to the Commercial Director South Europe, to lead our AdBlue® business across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg and drive profitable growth through strategic customer engagement, commercial excellence, and strong team leadership.
Responsibilities
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial performance and profitable growth of Yara's AdBlue® business in the Benelux region. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy to grow market share and profitability.
- Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across the transport, fuel retail, and industrial sectors.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial risks to ensure sustainable business growth.
- Drive pricing excellence and margin optimization while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Take full P&L responsibility for the Benelux region.
- Monitor and optimize logistics and terminal-related costs in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a regional sales team consisting of a local Sales Manager and Sales Support function.
- Track market developments, customer needs, and competitive activities, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, HESQ, Legal, HR, and other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with Yara's HESQ standards, Code of Conduct, and competition law requirements.
Profile
We are looking for a commercially driven and results-oriented leader with strong market understanding and a proven track record in B2B sales. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrive in a dynamic, competitive environment.
You are an effective people leader who can inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and build long-term customer partnerships while delivering strong business results.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or another relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of successful B2B commercial experience.
- Experience in the AdBlue®, urea, industrial chemicals, fuel retail, transport, or related commodity markets.
- Strong track record in key account management, business development, and strategic negotiations.
- Experience managing customer portfolios across multiple countries or regions.
- Proven success in developing and executing commercial growth strategies.
- Experience with P&L responsibility and margin management.
- Previous people leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working within a matrix organization and collaborating across functions.

- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- French is considered a strong advantage.
Additional Information
- Location: Benelux region.
- Extensive travel within Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg is required.
- The role has responsibility for a regional sales organization with two direct reports.
- The role carries full commercial responsibility for a sizeable multi-million-euro business across the Benelux region.
