Commercial Manager North Argentina

Argentina presents significant opportunities for growth within the agricultural sector. Yara has set ambitious targets to develop into the leading crop nutrition company, considering the fertilizer market in the region is approx. 298 KT. By joining our team, you and your colleagues will be important contributors to the success of Yara’s local value chain by building great relationships with our commercial organization, partners and customers.

Responsibilities

Main activities to develop:
Design of the strategic plan to strengthen and develop the market access in the North part of the country (NEA, NOA, Cuyo, Mesopotamia and Córdoba), including extensive and intensive crops.
Implementation of the Area´s Business Plan and Forecast.
Coordination and alignment of demand generation activities in the regions as well as transformation projects. Support the development of new business models.
Customer focus through implementation of adequate value propositions which have to be aligned with the heads of each department.
Management of Fixed Assets in the area of influence, which implies an adequate administration aligned with the client's results; eventually make a proposal for the reallocation of assets.
Lead and live the implementation of the Yara strategy in the region, enabling commercial team to engage 
Lead the High Value Products team with the implementation of the strategy in all the country. 
Create growth culture and licenses to operate among commercial team.
Strive for people growth, grow@yara* implementation among the team.

Profile

Education
Studies: Graduated Agronomist Engineer - Ideally have an MBA or Postgraduate in Agronomic Business
Language: Intermediate / Advanced English

 

Work Experience
Minimum experience: +3 years in similar management positions.
  Experience in Project management and leading teams.
  Deep knowledge about the region.
  Solid knowledge of financial tools
  Knowledge of Pricing processes
  Knowledge of Forecast process

The position is based in Argentina and will report directly to VP South Region.
