Supply Chain 
The Supply Chain area creates value by leveraging Yara’s knowledge and scale through global procurement, optimization of assets and efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

Currently we have the vacancy for the position of Trade & Logistic Manager South Region. We need a person with an experienced and highly motivated leader profile, whose main purpose is to ensure compliance with the commercial strategy, aiming to consolidate customer satisfaction and loyalty, to make their business more productive and profitable, to contribute to the company's results. 

 

- Lead and coordinate a team responsible for planning, sourcing coordination, local purchasing, foreign trade and distribution of products and services necessary to support and meet sales strategy and commercial commitments in the respective business unit located in South Region giving support in Chile to ensure Knowledge transfer and best practices implementation. 
- Optimize human resources and assets to achieve the best possible cost per ton, and maximize profitability and best use of capital. 
- Champion of safety, as well as ethics and compliance aligned to Yara standards and polices. 
- Implement optimal supply chain structure, selecting A players, highly competent, to achieve strategic objectives. 
- Contribute with local negotiations and purchases, as well as optimize service plans with the supply of other units.
- Lead the implementation of best practices and programs in planning, sourcing, foreign trade, fulfilment/transportation and procurement.
- Establish and monitor service level agreements between fulfillment and commercial. Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. 
- Drive use of YPS* (Yara Productivity System) continuous improvement programs.
- Establish operations integrity system. Drive compliance and optimums execution (TOPS* and HOPS* applicable). 
- Support and execute infrastructure and capital expenditure projects.
- Lead S&OP Process with commercial team as a tool to optimized the operations and work capital. 
- Achieve Inventory targets and controls. 
- Leadership and execution of the fulfillment strategy.
- Ensure the execution of the Indirect Procurement guidelines.

*YPS, TOPS and HOPS: systems of best practices and optimization processes. 

- Know and comply with the Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and Know and comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role.

* HESQ: policies related to health, environment, patrimonial security and quality.

Profile

Education
Bachelor/master degree in engineering, administration or similar,  preferably with Industrial orientation and Master or Postgraduate Course in Logistics.


Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant service experience.
 5 years in leading team.

Additional Information

About the location 
The position is based in Argentina and will report directly to Regional Director South Region.
