Quality Specialist

We are currently seeking a Quality Specialist, has the responsibility of ensuring local quality and integrity objectives are achieved, according to Yara guidelines for both own and third party products.

The position reports to the Local HESQ Manager and in a dotted line to Sr Quality Specialist BU LA.

HESQ Management: Know and comply with the Policy, Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements and Know and comply with the other requirements defined in the Matrix of HESQ Responsibilities, associated with their position / role.

Responsibilities

- Aligning with the overall customer complaint handling process in Yara, ensuring the product quality requirements.

- Establish, implement and maintain procedures and tools for quality system to manage customer requirements and satisfaction regarding quality and product stewardship (focus in product quality), in cooperation with the Marketing-Commercial-Agronomic-Supply Chain functions Local, BULA and centrally.

- Guarantee updated local documentation and keep safe the data base related with quality process (MSDS, Technical data sheet, quality certificates, manual, and instructive)

- In cooperation with areas involved, ensure the compliance of quality performance indicators (local KPI's)  in order to keep a continuous  improvement

- Define and maintain quality process standardization  (Laboratory, analysis of raw material, finished products, processes).

- Ensure that any deviations from the Yara quality management system are correctly documented in synergi or the system defined

- Ensures support to YSM Sites regarding quality management, including Chemical Compliance

- Support the implementation of Projects related with Quality systems

- Involved in the HESQ management system development, audits and the certification processes

- Ensure product (e.g. blends) compliance alignment with Yara guidelines

- Follow up the change control process in plants regarding product quality

- Follow up and/or report status of non conformances, and be involved in taking decision about the classification and disposition of the off specs productos

- Promote good practices on integral product management, optimizing local operations and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

Degree in Engineering or other applicable studies, preferable with Quality experience

- Competence in chemical compliance y product stewardship

- Competences in Handling of non conformities and Root Causes Analysis

Desirable 2 years in Quality and product control experience .
