We are seeking Operations and Terminal Manager to lead our Agribios unit.

Agribios, part of Yara Italy since 2024, has been developing and manufacturing in the factory of Canneto sull’Oglio (MN), organic and organo-mineral fertilizers for organic and conventional farming, combining quality and innovation with a solid vision of environmental respect and sustainability.

Responsibilities

The role is responsable for supervising and managing Agriobios operational and production activities as a production site and terminal.

Oversee Agribios' daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards
Collaborate with Regional Operational Planning Manager to define strategic plans, investments, and operating budgets
Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, costs, and safety, proposing corrective and improvement actions
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations, assuming legal responsibilities where applicable
Plan and coordinate production and material handling activities, optimizing the use of resources, machinery, and personnel
Develop and implement short- and long-term production plans consistent with company objectives
Control stock levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring efficient use of working capital
Maintenance: Implement and support a preventative and planned maintenance program
Lead and motivate the team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Coordinate cross-functional communication and collaboration (Finance, HR, Logistics, Production, Marketing)

Profile

Degree from a technical institution or equivalent professional experience
Fluency in Italian (spoken and written)
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and good working knowledge of local operational software (SAP or similar)
Strong team‑oriented mindset
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Exceptional communication skills
Outstanding organizational abilities
Self‑driven, proactive, and able to work independently
