Customer Service Support Specialist

About the Unit
Yara Africa Fertilizer (Pty) Ltd has an opportunity for a Customer Service Centre Specialist based at our offices in Brackengate, Western Cape. The overall responsibility of the Customer Service Centre Specialist is to provide support for the administration, queries and technology requirements of the Customer Service Centre to ensure smooth service delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first line of support for issues and queries from end users in CAP, AFE, ZFD and MGC (specifically in SD and MM modules).
- Participate in Yara IT's processes for incident management, change management, testing and communication.
- Manage e-KB table updates and distribution.
- Assist with Material requests for CAP, AFE, ZFD and MGC where necessary.
- Assist with Ad doc reporting & Month-end reporting.
- Provide support in the creation and processing of Sales Orders and Purchase Orders as required, particularly during team members’ absence or peak periods.
- Providing advice & assistance on stock recons & Create Inventory Docs for some CAP, ZFD and MGC sites.
- Assist with loading sales prices in SAP where necessary.
- Be up to date with the latest standard business processes and work instructions.
- Organize training for new and existing users, act as trainer when applicable.
- Assist and coach end users in CAP, ZFD and MGC.
- Identify needs for change and opportunities for improvement. Outline possible solutions or problems in correct channels.
- Monitor and manage failed iDocs (deliveries) between the Sizanani system and SAP, ensuring timely eprocessing and resolution of errors to maintain seamless integration.
Responsibilities (Continued)
- Contribute to the implementation and testing of changes, developments, enhancements and/or new releases to the SAP solution.
- Support the development and maintenance of the application solution work instruction documentation: English and local language.
- Act as a communication bridge between IT application team and end users, to provide relevant information regarding new developments, releases, incident and/or resolutions.
- Participate, as a business resource for the implementation of IT oriented project such as roll out, release, new functionalities etc as agreed with and approved by line manager.
- Attend online Yara ERP training, seminars and meetings.
- Transfer issues and queries that cannot be resolved at super user level to IT support services. Assist in testing and communicating the solution to the end user.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in commerce or related field
3 years experience in similar role
3 years experience working in SAP
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
