Shared Service Center Since 2016, BULA's shared services center has been providing transactional services for the different work units in Latin America, thus allowing greater agility and centralization of tasks, making some of the strategic areas less operational. With a financial emphasis, the shared services center tries every day to provide support to the various areas of the company through services, such as: Record To Report (R2R), Order To Cash (O2C), Procure To Pay (P2P ) and Operational Excellence (Opex).
The position will be based in Cartagena de Indias Colombia and will have a direct report line to the Master Data Coordinator.
Responsibilities
Main objective:
The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for posting and maintaining the master data entities and objects under the Shared Service Center scope, ensuring integrity of information, correct transfer of information in accordance with the requests received, compliance with service agreements and validating the governance definitions and data quality rules within their scope. This fully following the defined procedures, internal financial controls and using the technological tools available.
The analyst will work within the framework of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver high-quality data services for several entities like customers, vendors, materials, projects, fixed assests, cost centers, internal orders, employees, among other, for the countries within SSC Latam scope.
This role will support all iniciatives focus on improve processes efficiency and standardization and will collaborate with team members to accomplish goals.
Main tasks:
- To accomplish the established data governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and improve data quality through regular audits, validation processes, and quality control measures.
- Post and maintain master data in the company’s information systems, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
- Work closely with various departments to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Adhere to SLAs for data management services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data-related tasks.
- Track and report on data quality indicators and other relevant KPIs to measure and improve data management performance.
- Provide training and support to users on master data-related topics, promoting best practices and data literacy.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects to enhance data management processes.
- Create and maintain process documentation (DTPs).
- Provide excellent customer service; understands Yara core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business critical issues.
- Maintain the integrity of data that contains Personally Identifiable Information
- Responsible for compliance with the Ethics and Values policy of the organization.
Areas of responsibility:
- Work with the leaders of the different entities in the Latam region. Collaborate with other Global or local team member, technical specialists, project managers, data analysts and users.

Profile
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s Degree (industrial engineer, System Engineer, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related careers), Functional Knowledge: Accounting and Financial Processes; Knowledge of SAP: SD, FI, MM; English and Spanish: Spoken and written fluid; Excel: Intermidiate - Advanced; Visual Basic Knowledge
Desirable: - Customer Service Attention, Operational Excellence. - Skills in programming and database management (SQL, Python). - Postgraduate program in information systems, systems engineering, data management or other related. - SAP Certification for SD, FI or MM modules
Work Experience : -Experience in at least one of the following master data areas - Materials, Suppliers, Customers, Finance, including Data Governarce, Data Quality and Data Cleansing -Experience with Microsoft Excel, Data Base Management. -Experience with SAP.
Desirable: - Business Services Centre experience - Good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies. - Process design or Projects Management. - Experience in Change Management and Quality (process improvement). - Internal Controls - Work experience in the fertilizer industry, or other similar industry. - Security and Privacy of Information - Safe design of automated processes. - Power BI
