Yara Indonesia is seeking a hard-working, dynamic, and motivated professional individual to lead and drive its public policy, stakeholder engagement, and external communications strategic initiatives in Indonesia as its Agronomist, based in East Java.

This successful candidate will be part of the Yara Indonesia - Crop & Agronomist team. The person will report to the Agronomist Manager, who is based in Jakarta. He/she will also working with East Java team.

Responsibilities

The Agronomist role will be responsible to:

Carry out field trials on agreed crops and area, collect and document data, and make reports.
Validating the feasibility and viability of our solution, new product or new crop program with generating data and demo/trial reports.
Train the team on application competence, technical solution and agronomy tools.
Provide technical support for commercial and marketing team on : value adding to key customers, giving technical solution/advice/support both for team and customers on achieving bussiness goals and also on supporting important MDA events.
Contribute to develop Yara digital solution in Indonesia.
Maintain good relationship with key farmers, distributor team, research centre and other important agri stakeholder in the area.
Organize demand creation activities to promote Yara Crop Nutrition Program
Advocate product quality aspect as Product Quality Champions in respected area, helping related stakeholder on solving product quality complain issue

Profile

An ideal applicant will have:

A bachelor's degree in agro science
more than 3 years of demonstrable experience of working in Agronomist or similar role in Indonesia
A team player with professional ethics
Fluency in English, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Pragmatic, resourceful and flexicle approach to work
