Chemical Process Engineer

About the Unit

Yara Plant in Ferrara, to support Yara's growth ambition, is looking for a Process Engineer who is interested in developing as line manager or specialist.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the plants to:
  • maintain the highest productivity and reliability level
  • ensure the quality of the final products
  • limit the environmental impact reducing emissions
  • be a lead in drive down the energy consumption

To satisfy these responsibilities, among other activities, provide: process documentation and operating suggestions, support in obtaining international standards certifications, etc....

• Be active in improving the process safety performance (contribute and carry out risk analysis sessions, suggest optimal process parameters, etc.)
• Be a lead in maintaining and improving the high safety performance of the organization
• Optimization and development of plant operations (data collection, simulation, analysis and interpretation, including periodic plant test run)
• Emission and check of process parameter for the working out of the process data sheets (equipment, valves, instrumentation, etc...)
• Manage small projects and assist in larger ones
• Build relations with technical personnel within Yara both locally and at international level

Profile

• MSc (2nd level master’s degree) in Chemical Engineering
• Good analytical capability and "hands-on" attitude
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team and with a high level of self-motivation
• Preferred mother tongue Italian or willing to learn Italian. Fluent in English written and spoken.
• Good management skills and ability to work well under pressure
