HR Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for managers and employees in Denmark, providing advice and support on all people-related matters.
  • Serve as the Country HR Legal Lead, ensuring complicance with local employment law, company policies, and HR governance requirements.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding.
  • Implement and coordinate global HR policies, programs, and initiatives at the country level.
  • Manage payroll administration and company pension processes in collaboration with external providers, ensuring accurate data, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR data in the systems while ensuring high data quality and GDPR compliance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, global HR teams, and external partners to deliver effective HR services.
  • Participate in the local Danish senior management team.
  • Lead and contribute to local, regional, and global HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and update local HR policies, employee handbooks, and HR communications.
  • Support organizational change, transformation, and people-related projects across the business.
  • Coordinate fleet management activities.
  • Act as the practical facility manager and coordinator for the Fredericia office.

Profile

  • Degree-level education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a broad HR Generalist or HR Advisor role.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Strong knowledge of Danish employment law (Funtionær loven) and collective agreements (Fællesoverenkomsten), HR compliance and HR governance requirements.
  • Experience, and strong hands on knowledge of Danish tax, and other related payroll components, coordinating payroll administration and company pension schemes in collaboration with external providers.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, data management, and GDPR requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage country-specific HR responsibilities in a standalone HR environment.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively support employees, managers, and business leaders.
  • Experience implementing HR policies, processes, and global HR initiatives at local level, as well as supporting change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
