About the Unit

Yara Glomfjord is an integral part of Yara International ASA’s production system. Yara Glomfjord, which is a unit of the subsidiary Yara Norge AS, is the world’s northernmost mineral fertiliser plant and is situated at the head of Glomfjorden, 145 km south of Bodø. In Meløy, we live close to high peaks, beautiful fjords and Svartisen. This offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. At our plants, which operate continuously, we produce approximately 800,000 tonnes of mineral fertiliser per year. We focus on continuous improvement so that our products can be manufactured and used in a way that minimises damage to the environment. We are now looking for a Reliability Engineer in our Maintenance Department. The department consists of engineers and technicians in automation/electro and mechanical disciplines. The position reports to Maintenance Manager, and will be working closely to Maintenance and Production to improve the reliability in order to minimize production losses, optimize maintenance costs an ensure safety .

Responsibilities

Responsible for the Reliability Engineering (RE) year plan: prepare, approvals, feedback, follow-up, execute and facilitate:
- criticality ranking
- RE analysis (FMEA, PMO)
- development of maintenance strategies
- development of spare part strategies
Responsible for storing relevant RE data in IT system
Special focus and facilitation of FMEA/PMO on critical assets causing the biggest reliability losses of the plant
Participate and/or lead RCPS sessions
Provide training: Criticality Ranking, FMEA/PMO, RCPS tools, software tools such as Meridium
Responsible for optimization of the maintenance concept for the life cycle of assets
Responsible to create First Line Maintenance plans: Facilitate between Production and Maintenance Execution
Identify, participate and/or lead projects aimed at improving the reliability of equipment and processes

Profile

MSc/BSc in Engineering
Relevant experience from industrial plants would be an advantage
Norwegian is the main language, but you must also be proficient in English, both spoken and written
