The Yara Pilbara Fertilisers' plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we have also taken the ammonia process further downstream with the Yara Pilbara Nitrates Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) plant, a joint venture with Orica. Together with ENGIE, Yara Pilbara are also building a renewable hydrogen plant to produce renewable ammonia.

Yara are seeking applications for their 2-year fixed term role of Document Control Administrator.
Yara offer work hours flexibility for this role to support a wider range of applicants:
- Full-time, or
- Part-time (minimum 25 hours/week, either over 2–3 days or spread across the week)

This role provides administrative support to the Principal QMS & Operational Excellence, maintaining Yara Pilbara’s integrated management system. The focus is on ensuring efficient document control services that support business operations and continuous improvement efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the Principal QMS & Operational Excellence
- Provide system administration support & guidance for Document Control systems (SAP DMS, SharePoint) to ensure document control processes are handled in a consistent and efficient manner in compliance with company requirements
- Apply existing or develop new documentation and templates to promote best practice and continuous improvement
- Obtain good understanding of plant equipment and associated services to support the business to ensure technical/engineering documents & project documents and deliverables are processed in a timely manner to a high standard of quality
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Administration support for Health & Safety management system software solutions
- Support data and record management including archiving
- Provide broader administrative support to the HESQ team as needed
- Organise catering when required
- Assist with Health and Safety -related tasks as directed by the Safety Manager
- Interacting with all other departments and functions at all levels
- Support continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives relating the integrated management system

Profile
- Certificate III in Business or equivalent (preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in administrative roles
- Experience with electronic document/record management systems (e.g. SAP, SharePoint) – ideally within the petrochemical, resources, or project environment
- Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) desirable
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational, communication, and grammar skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confident using MS SharePoint and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated work style
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (temporary visa holders not eligible)
