Finance Officer

Yara Limited is duly registered company under the Laws of Rwanda as a subsidiary of Yara Tanzania Limited also a subsidiary of Fertilizers Holdings AS, headquartered in Norway.  We trade in importation and sale of fertilizers in Rwanda. The aim is developing a market concept that increases the number of farmers who use fertilizer in Rwanda including better knowledge in plant nutrition, improved distribution  and  logistics.

Yara Limited was established and started operations in Rwanda in 2015 and has grown to become among leading input companies supplying the Government subsidy scheme with specific crop programs as well as offering capacity building programs to farmers.

Responsibilities

Finance Officer is a  fixed term contract position based in Kigali Rwanda to ensure the following responsibilities are met;

1.Support Finance & Administration in ensuring that appropriate financial records are maintained in order to meet corporate, audit, legislative and financial reporting requirements.

2. Assist Finance & Administration in timely submission of ICFR reconciliations to the Business Controller for review.

3. Timely invoicing to Distributor (APTC) and Government subsidy.

4. Manage and update schedule showing details of invoices/payments received per District related to subsidy.

5. Prepare timely submission of debtors report and billing to the government with 100% accuracy.

Profile

  1. University Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  2. Minimum of 2 years working experience in Finance Department of a profit Organization.
