Join Our HR Regional Operations Team in Europe as a compensation & benefits advisor!
HR Regional Operations drives harmonization of services, processes and tools across Region Europe to ensure a professional operation of HR and high-quality data for decision making. Regional Operations is divided into four areas: People Services, People Resourcing, Performance & Development and Compensation & Benefits Operations.
Responsibilities
We're looking for a driven professional who thrives in matrix organisations, navigates complexity with confidence, and believes in building fair and competitive compensation practices. In this role you will play a key part in helping coordinate and develop compensation and benefits processes across Europe ensuring they are aligned with global policies and compliant with local legislation.
You’ll provide hands-on support to employees and managers via our HR portal, resolve C&B-related inquiries in line with SLAs, and proactively advise and train managers on C&B topics. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and executing the annual compensation cycle, conducting job grading using WTW methodology, and maintaining high data accuracy.
You’ll also support the development of competitive, market-aligned pay structures by analyzing benchmarking data using internal tools like Power BI and data provider platforms. In addition, you’ll manage communications on compensation adjustments, ensure timely data submissions to external vendors, and play a key role in strategic projects such as the EU Pay Transparency Project. The position also takes ownership of more complex compensation topics and drives continuous improvement within the C&B area.
- Support the coordination and development of compensation and benefits processes at regional level in compliance with global policies
- Advise and support HR and Line Managers on compensation and benefits matters, including promotions, restructures, job descriptions, and annual review processes
- Support and execute position grading processes at regional level while keeping a holistic grading overview
- Support in designing and providing training for HR community and Line Managers, including position grading and benchmarking methodology as well conducting the annual processes at a high quality
- Conduct analysis to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits packages across Europe and analyze benchmarking data to review and align local C&B plans
- Monitor market trends, benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards, and deliver data-driven insights to HR and Line Managers
- Manage internal compensation data submission to external vendors for benchmark studies, coordinate data extraction with local payroll/local HR when needed
Profile
- Higher University degree with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international environment
- Experience from both being a consultant and/or in-house expert within an organization is a benefit
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify and visualize complex issues
- Good understanding of cyclical compensation and benefits processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify and visualize complex topics
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
