HR Advisor - People Resourcing m/f/d (Fixed-Term)

Within Yara Europe, HR Regional Operations ensures smooth processes, high-quality data, and efficient services across all HR functions. People Resourcing team, part of this unit, is now looking for a new HR Advisor to join the team. 

 

People Resourcing oversees the full employee lifecycle, providing six key services: Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, Employer Branding, Employee Retention Management, and Workforce Management. In this role, the team not only supports managers and employees with inquiries and concerns but also engages with internal customers to address their business needs through People Resourcing processes. HR Advisor will act as a subject matter expert for these processes. 

 

The HR Advisor in Sweden will hold responsibility for Country HR, advising on local labor laws, and will serve as the Unions and Work Council Representative, participating in meetings and negotiations. 

 

We are looking for an experienced and independent HR professional with a strong expertise in managing HR compliance and HR processes, while effectively developing and nurturing good stakeholder relationships. 

 

Note: this is a 12-month fixed-term contract. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide efficient and effective support to employees and managers by addressing inquiries not just through task execution, but also through proactive consultations 
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring a transparent, compliant, and seamless experience for managers, candidates, new hires, and departing employees 
  • Ensure compliance with Swedish HR legislation, including proper documentation of guidelines, deviations from regional processes, and necessary internal communication 
  • Serve as the key contact for sensitive HR matters, such as compliance, disciplinary issues, and other legal HR concerns, collaborate with unions and relevant stakeholders
  • Support and advice line managers on rehabilitation cases in Sweden, including necessary reporting and communication with external stakeholders 
  • Manage and coordinate relations, interactions, and negotiations with unions and works councils, ensuring early involvement in relevant processes to facilitate smooth decision-making 
  • Drive accurate and efficient data management in adherence to GDPR and local HR compliance 
  • Actively participate in People Resourcing regional projects and initiatives, i.e., designing and delivering support material and trainings for all Yara Europe employees, harmonizing processes across different countries etc. 
  • Ensure the active promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion through People Resourcing processes 

Profile

 

  • HR relevant Bachelor-level education
  • Minimum of 3 years of independent work experience in recruitment, strong interviewing skills, and the ability to coach hiring managers, along with expertise in onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Strong track record in collaborating with unions and work councils in Sweden
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Swedish labor law and collective agreements, including GDPR and HR compliance
  • Experience working with recruitment selection tools, data analytics tools and HR Information Systems (SAP SuccessFactors is a plus)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, optimize and harmonize processes
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, both verbal and written communication - a must. Additional languages are a benefit.
