Yara has a strategic agenda to support the transition towards providing sustainable solutions for the global food system. We have a worldwide presence with sales to ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees. Yara Global Innovation, will lead the transformation towards a nature-positive food future, by innovating our offering based on strong R&D and sound customer insights. GI will lead the positioning of Yara’s new solutions and work closely with the 3 regions to ensure successful commercialization towards all actors of the food value chain (farmers, channel partners, Food companies, etc..).
About the role
Capability enablement is a key strategic lever to Yara to activate the company knowhow as a commercial sales edge. Within Global Innovation, the CoC for Reg Ag and Marketing unit has a dedicated Capability Management Team that serve as Centre of Excellence for agronomic knwoldge and upcoming new market trends in the agri-food system. The team defines the capabilities required in the field to support the implementation of Yara’s strategy and to enable the sales force to strengthen the commercial sales edge.
The Agronomy Growth & Engagement Manager is responsible for driving all internal and external initiatives related inclusion programs and projects and leverage and support the capability enablement assets and the business impact potential. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, entrepreneurial profile to manage the implementation of Agronomy knowledge.
The role reports to Capability Enablement Lead and could be offered in Oslo.
Responsibilities
- Driving the Women in Agronomy Program forward and leading its transition into Phase 2
- Manage the program in full collaboration acorss Yara stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the program’s strategic goals, fostering inclusion and professional growth across the agronomy community
- Detail the Phase 2 of the program, promoting the share of ownership and lead into the markets and focus on the program enrichment by leveraging the key capability assets
- Reinforce the program value proposition in terms of business relevance and impact
- Support capability-building efforts through the development of communication materials, playbooks, and event coordination or facilitation
- Support customers and stakeholders endorsement , contribute to the excution plan design and active follow up
- Collect, analyze, and report data and statistics to establish benchmarks and quantify business impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally to promote awareness, engagement, and continuous improvement of inclusion initiatives
- Develop and maintain resources that enhance key capabilities across agronomy teams
Profile
- Degree in Business related areas or other relevant disciplines, with min 5 years experience in global companies
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in agronomy, agriculture, or inclusion-focused programs
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline, showing strong result orientation and drive
- User-centric and agile approach, adaptable in the face of challenges or setbacks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies and make informed decisions
- Curiosity, creativity, and resourcefulness, with a continuous learning mindset to innovate and improve outcomes
- Matured understanding for for diversity, equity, and inclusion
