Yara Industrial Solutions (YIS) is an autonomous business area within Yara, comprising five global commercial business units, production units in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia, and central functions.  The business area has around 1,900 employees in 27 countries on all continents.


In order to drive HR and culture initiatives globally, and to support organizational development and competence building, a new position as Director HR and Learning, YIS has been created. The position will be based in Oslo and report to SVP People & Culture, YIS.  
 

 

Responsibilities

 

The Director HR and Learning Manager will be member of the YIS People & Culture management team.

 

Key responsibilities:
•    Contribute to developing YIS’ People & Culture agenda
•    HR Manager for global Business Units (BUs)
-    HR Business Partner for BU SVPs and part of the BU management teams
-    Identify and run People & Culture initiatives to support the BU strategies
-    Organizational development and talent management for relevant BUs
-    Plan and run global people processes in relevant units
•    Learning
-    Main YIS contact with Corporate Learning
-    Map and evaluate learning needs in the YIS organization
-    Propose a learning strategy and learning initiatives relevant to the identified target groups
-    Create, coordinate, organize and support learning initiatives to promote a people and customer centric culture.
 

Profile

 

•    University degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or other relevant area
•    Experience in working in complex matrix organizations with global operations, with demonstrated ability to successfully manage and influence stakeholders on all levels of the organization
•    Minimum 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering at senior levels and in a multinational environment with diverse cultures and stakeholder groups
•    Experience with creating, running and facilitating training sessions and learning programs and initiatives. Certification in tools like MBTI and coaching are a plus
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and strong networking capabilities
•    Result oriented and able to work independently
•    Positive, curious and flexible in the way of working.

Additional Information

 

Proficiency in English is required. A good level of French, German, Portuguese and/or Spanish will be a plus.
The position is based in Oslo. Some travelling will be required.
