Ethics & Compliance Business Integrity Specialist

Yara’s Ethics and Compliance Department was established in 2009 and is responsible for the Ethics and Compliance program globally in Yara.
To support Yara’s growth ambition and the growth of our Ethics and Compliance Department, Yara is looking for a Business Integrity Specialist, responsible for system administration and monitoring. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Administration of the Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) system and process, including processing of IDD questionnaires and quality assurance, liaising with the business line and preparation of regular reporting to the E&C team, Segments and Management. 
  • Monitoring of high-risk Business Partners in the IDD system according to E&C procedures. This may involve initiating renewals of IDDs, screening or in-depth research and other audit activities, as well as follow-up of remediating actions agreed with the business line. 
  • Performing the monitoring of Business Partners by handling the compliance screening of active customers and vendors in Yara ERP systems. Reviewing monitoring reports, identifying risks and proposing mitigating actions to other departments as it regards to screening results. Access control and coordination with IT. 
  • Day-to-day management of the E&C information on Yara Intranet, post updated information, FAQs and translations of key documents and monthly audit logs of E&C sharepoint. Order and distribute E&C print material.
  • Take an active role in the reporting on monitoring activities to the business line. 
  • Ensure operational E&C databases (includes data related to Conflicts of Interest, Facilitation Payments, Gifts & Hospitality, Guidance Requests, IDDs).
  • Be responsible for E&C monthly dashboard reporting on facilitation payments, Business Partner screening, Investigations and Guidance Requests, e-learning, gift & hospitality declarations.
  • Run surveys on behalf of the E&C department.
  • Document  retention management and maintenance of the E&C contract overview.
  • Contributing to and assisting on specific ad-hoc E&C projects and administrative tasks. 
     
Profile

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree within law, business administration, social sciences, economy, IT or other relevant discipline. 
  • English (fluent written and spoken). Other European languages are a plus (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian).
  • Comfortable in working in a multi-cultural, multi-language environment. Cross cultural collaboration.
  • Diplomatic and professional approach to problem solving and/or reaching goals.
  • Confident, proactive, self-starter. Rapidly learns new tasks and demonstrates an understanding of newly presented information.
  • Good communication skills, including collaboration with senior employees.
  • Power BI and Alteryx skills are an advantage.
  • Demonstrate judgment with handling confidential information.
  • Request some travel mobility.
  • Relevant work experience in system administration is an advantage. 
  • Develops expertise through continual professional development, takes personal responsibility for resolving concerns and demonstrates integrity. 
  • Demonstrates judgment with handling confidential information.
  • Structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.
