Global Brand Manager

We’re now looking for a new team member to join our Brand & Corporate Positioning team. 

About the Unit

The Brand and Corporate Positioning team is responsible for proposing, developing, and executing the overall corporate brand and corporate positioning strategy across the company. The team leads the development of companywide positioning strategies, all corporate branded communications and engagement activities in support of Yara’s mission, vision and corporate strategy including oversight, development and deployment of necessary marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve Yara’s goals. The department works with other internal stakeholders and external creative partners to ensure the execution of our positioning and brand strategy. In other words, we work every day to raise awareness on how Yara is working to live up to its mission to responsibly feed the world and protect the planet and by joining this team, you'll play a leading role in the strategic brand building of Yara across multiple stakeholders and work alongside very passionate and skilled colleagues

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead execution of brand strategies that build awareness and equity for the Yara corporate brand, its product and services globally and aligned with business strategy
  • Lead development of global corporate brand  initiatives that have strategic and measurable impact on awareness and equity, making sure such initiatives build value across proritized stakeholders
  • Lead the development and execution of corporate events that build Yara awareness and equity
  • Manage governance in line with Steering documents for Brand Management and Naming
  • Lead conceptual and creative development and execution for corporate brand  initiatives, working closely with regions and other functions to ensure effective and efficient processes and outtakes that maximize ROI
  • Work with and manage creative, film and production partners as needed
  • Budget and timeline management for dedicated projects
  • Corporate Brand  capability and best practice sharing

Profile

  • Degree in Marketing or Communications, post-graduate studies appreciated
  • Minimum 5 years in global or multi-market brand and marketing roles including brand strategy, creative development, marketing assets development, and events.
  • Experience in utilizing digital channels to build brand awareness and equity
  • Experience and ability to handle high complex conversations and projects on a senior level
  • Visionary, strategic, analytical, and proactive: Strong strategic thinker skilled in strategy and execution
  • Experience from working across multiple touchpoints and media to build brand awareness and equity
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with track record of successful collaboration
  • Independent, with drive and enthusiasm, pragmatic problem-solver. Proven ability to drive projects forward and adjust course as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work through others to drive results
  • Fluency in English is essential. Strong Norwegian communication skills preferred.
