Manager, Corporate Security & Threat Intelligence

About the Role
Yara’s Corporate Security and Emergency Preparedness department has an open position. The department comprises three teams: Physical Security and Analysis, Emergency Preparedness and Response, and HQ Facility Management. Yara is seeking a highly experienced expert to strengthen our corporate security team. In this role, you will manage the development of Yara’s threat intelligence program, generate geopolitical assessments, contribute to the global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process, drive information management in the Corporate HESQ Security and Emergency Preparedness Team and provide critical insights that influence strategic decisions across all business regions. Your work will contribute to shaping Yara’s future direction by ensuring our executive leadership understand the strategic operating environment, and support them in preparing for, preventing disruptions, identifying opportunities and generating respond options to geopolitical developments and security threats.
What you will be doing
· Continuously improving the Yara global threat intelligence methodology to systematically identify and communicate potential security risks before they materialize.
· Developing systems for effective information management in close coordination with other expert functions in Yara.
· Performing strategic risk assessments and contributing to maintaining the company’s global security and geopolitical outlook.
· Performing security risk assessments.
· Deliver training and conducting exercises in relevant topics associated with the Corporate HESQ Security and Emergency Preparedness Team task portfolio.
· Act as Yara’s internal subject matter expert on threat intelligence.
· Contributing to other tasks in the Global Security and Emergency Response Team.
· Participate in corporate crisis manager on duty roster

What we're looking for
Education & Experience
· Master’s degree, with a proven track record as a recognized expert in geopolitical risk, international security, intelligence, or other related disciplines.
· Practical experience in security operations or emergency preparedness is considered a strong advantage.
· The education level can be compensated for by long professional experience in one or more of the required disciplines.
Functional & Business Skills
· Profound understanding of how security, threat and vulnerability assessments shape corporate strategy and decision-making.
· Strong conceptual thinking skills with the ability to identify emerging risks with limited data.
· Mature skills in critical thinking and problem solving.
Interpersonal & Leadership Skills
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, skilled at influencing, advising, and building risk awareness across the various levels in an organization.
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams, disciplines, cultures and stakeholder groups to achieve shared goals.
· Willingness to take responsibility for other tasks in the security and emergency response team.
· The position has no direct reports but carries significant indirect influence and support responsibilities across the organization.

• Competitive terms and conditions. Salary based on personal agreement. Duties as the corporate crisis manager on duty to be compensated separately. The position will be included in the company's bonus scheme. Good insurance and pension terms.
