Senior Business Analyst

About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in strengthening data driven decision making across Yara’s Global Procurement and Supply Chain organization. This role sits at the heart of a global procurement function managing multi billion dollar spend across energy markets, raw materials, logistics, and supply chains, operating in a complex and dynamic geopolitical landscape.
You will translate data, market intelligence, and performance insights into actionable recommendations that directly influence strategy, value delivery, and operational excellence across Yara.
Responsibilities
• Deliver high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive strategic and operational decision making across global procurement
• Leverage market intelligence, external data, and internal performance metrics to interpret trends, assess risks, and generate actionable business insights
• Develop clear, compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations for a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management and C suite audiences
• Define, govern, and track procurement value creation and savings initiatives, ensuring transparency and impact realization
• Support category strategies, RFPs, and supplier negotiations with robust analytical insights and scenario analysis
• Continuously improve analytical methods, tools, and ways of working to increase impact and efficiency
Your Profile
• University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, consulting, procurement, supply chain, or a similar environment
• Strong ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and exposure to tools such as Alteryx, Python and/or R is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders
• Proactive, structured, intellectually curious, and able to work independently in a global context
