Terminal Operator - Control Room (Part-Time)

About the Unit

The Facilities Operator - Control Room will monitor and maintain terminal equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.  The position holder will monitor and coordinate loading operations to ensure safe and efficient transfers.  The Facilities Operator - Control Room will monitor and control pipeline and trucks to ensure safe and dependable supply to our customers.


  • Perform routine maintenance on all operating equipment
  • Take readings and calculate inventories of product
  • Coordinate safe and dependable product supply to customers
  • Coordinate with truck drivers for safe and efficient loading of trucks
  • Participate in all mandated safety training and exercises to develop proficiency
  • Perform routine security duties as described in the Facility Security Plan
  • Stay current as a First Responder and required trainings including certifications
  • Perform any duties assigned by the Management Team, including general terminal maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
  • Read, understand, and implement the Terminal HESQ manual in all matters pertaining to this job


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of terminal experience
  • DOT, PSM, First aid, CPR, Blood borne Pathogen and AED certified
  • Hazmat trained to Technician Level
  • Safety oriented
  • Willingness to work in and contribute to a diverse team
  • Detail oriented with solid process orientation
  • Good maintenance skills
  • Solid computer skills

Additional Information

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • The position holder must to be able to:
    • Pick-up heavy material (25-50 lbs.)
    • Work at heights up to 48 feet
    • Work on feet for several hours, including bending and kneeling
    • Wear all types of personal protective equipment, including fall protection
    • Work outdoors/indoors under extreme temperatures 
    • Work overtime and work adjusted hours/work days due to schedule changes when there is a need/requirement to deliver on terminal obligations.
