About the Unit

Yara Africa Fertilizer in South Africa provides agricultural producers with the best quality crop nutrition (fertilizer) solutions. A complete range from granular, liquid, water soluble to foliar feeds are available.  Based in Paarl, we are recruiting for a SAP key user to take care of Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Sales & Distribution (SD) function on SAP. 

Responsibilities

• 1. General
• Check and correct handling account from contractors.
• Assist and train end-users.
• Assist Management with reports/ info from SAP
  2. IM (Inventory Management)
• Conduct stock reconciliations and arrange stock meetings monthly.
• Inventor documents create (where requested) and posting, SAP Support

3.  MM (Materials Management)

• Material Master data management 
• Create purchase orders (when requested) and make corrections, deliveries delete for corrections.
• Shipment reports to transport contractors.
• Monitor Goods in Transit (GIT)

Responsibilities (Continued)

4.  PP (Production Planning)

• BOM (Bill of Material) & routing create for new materials/ changes
• Ensure correct data capturing and corrections of PP Orders
• Monitor open or incomplete productions
• Monitor production over and under consumptions
• Production status check on month-end
  5. SD (Sales & Distribution)
• Check open deliveries/un-invoiced sales at least every second day and follow up
• Delete shipment cost/shipments and deliveries for corrections on sales orders
• Sales orders month-end procedures

Key Requirements

SAP experience non-negotiable.

Grade 12 with at least 5 years relevant work experience.
