Digital Business Analyst

About the Digital Production unit

We are now elevating our focus on digital solutions to help us achieve this ambition. To lead this effort, we are ramping up our global Digital Production team. We believe our operational data in combination with digital technologies can help us to significantly improve the design and performance of our production facilities.


We are currently developing a digital platform that will ensure uniform data access to all our production facilities. On top of the digital platform we are also developing scalable, solid and user-friendly digital products that will help our employees at the sites, or in global functions, improve the efficiency and safety of our processes and operations.


Our unit is responsible end-to-end for the impact of the digital products, which means that we establish the vision, develop, and deploy the products at the production sites.

What we are looking for


We are now hiring five Business Analysts for the following digital programs:


  • Production Optimization: Optimize the production by providing real-time process insight, decision support and/or automatically adjusting the process.


  • Digital Operations: Enable a digitally connected workforce with technology, information and insight to continuously improve work processes and deliver safe operations.


  • Digital Reliability & Maintenance: Improve the reliability of our production assets, and ensure efficient, effective, and safe maintenance execution.


You will be working closely together with the Product Manager and support him/her on all activities from identifying business needs, defining product strategy and execution.

What you will be doing


  • Support defining the product strategy based on business needs
  • Analyze and document business cases in decision gate material
  • Perform benefit calculations and measure the realized output
  • Manage and influence stakeholder alignment—act as a product evangelist
  • Design and facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and other discovery activities to identify and deliver requirements/user stories from stakeholders
  • Support building product backlog and setting acceptance criteria
  • Create communication and training material
  • Support product implementation and change management needs

What you will bring


  • Several years relevant work experience in digital product development, industrial technology development, operations improvements, or similar
  • Experience in Agile and lean methodology
  • Experience as part of a product development team
  • Curious, a quick learner, and collaborative
  • Able to challenge ideas and views of stakeholders in a cross-cultural work environment
  • You like to explore how technology can solve real business problems
  • Master's degree or equivalent in relevant field
