To leverage on this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals’ 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India. With this acquisition Yara India’s scale of operation has grown significantly.
Responsibilities
Achievement of sales target:
- To ensure achievement of agreed sales plan & to achieve maximum realization.
- Ensure implementation of agreed plan through Territory Sales Manager
- Process & monitor daily sales and coordination with zonal office for supply.
Stakeholder Management & Business Development:
- Monitor dealer wise sales and performance of dealers & retailers.
- Handling customer's problems / issues on daily basis.
- Coordination with local Govt. officials - District Agriculture Officer and local testing labs.
- Expansion of market network, for deeper penetration and connect to retailers and farmers
- Initiate proposals for product pricing, schemes, retailer motivation, etc
- Ensuring timely Collections as per terms.
Reporting & Market feedback:
- Provide the feedback & need for appointing new dealers/stockiest in unrepresented areas / areas which are not fully penetrated.
- Providing feedback on weak pockets of sales areas & the reasons thereof.
- Ensuring weekly outstanding report along with collection plan.
- Ensuring timely submission of all reports & plan.
People Development:
- Training and development of team members. Coaching and counselling to sales team.
Profile
Qualification & Skills required
- First Class Graduate/Postgraduate in Agriculture Domains
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 – 10 Years of hands-on experience of Sales in the Agriculture Industry.
- Proven track record in the areas of operations.
