About the Unit
We at Yara are part of a global network, collaborating to profitably and responsibly solve some of the world's key challenges -resource scarcity, food insecurity and environmental change.
The Yara Italia plant in Ravenna produces about 350,000 tons of nitric acid and 700,000 tons of nitrogen fertilizers (ammoniumnitrate and NPK), from ammonia and other raw materials. The plant covers an area of 23 hectares, with production facilities,warehouses and services, and employs about 160 people.
Responsibilities
- Assisting management by giving expert support for a successful personnel management.
- Managing Yara’s HR processes and tools such as “Performance Management” “Succession Plan” and "Workforce Planning".
- Leading the talent identification process and sourcing candidates for employment.
- Supporting managers in selecting people for personal development.
- Contributing to business strategy by helping managers identifying, prioritizing and build organization skills, behaviors, structures and processes.
- Recommending and conducting changes of managerial activities.
In addition, managing operational functions on behalf of management:
- Supporting the decision-making process of salary increases by ensuring measurement and quality.
- Managing and conducting employee’s recruitment process including international assignments.
- Advising management on employment contracts and related adjustments.
- Supporting the Plant Manager regarding trade unions affairs.
- Reorganizing and managing staff turnover.
- Managing dealings with the qualified physician regarding the health monitoring of the employees.
Profile
- Degree in Economics or Psychology or equivalent faculties.
- Experience in the field of HR and Business Partnering can be an advantage.
- Skilled in change management and coaching.
- Strong competence in project management.
- Knowledge of the business (strategy, process and standards) within the needs of the company.
- Excellent knowledge of HR processes and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills (ability to build effective relational initiatives, influence and build relationships with leaders).
- Ability to establish trust and a reputation for discretion, judgment and advice.
- Good participation in teams with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Additional Information
As HR Manager, you will work close to the HR Regional Operation Team and report to the Plant Manager.
In carrying out the activity, you will be responsible for preparing complex works in collaboration with other Departments, such as: Maintenance, Safety, Production and Purchasing Office.
