The Business Intelligence Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Americas´ Innovation (Business Transformation) by providing high-quality analytics, reporting, and governance support across the regional transformation & growth portfolio.

The BI Specialist collaborates across functions, BUs and with external sources to collect data, maintain portfolio dashboards, and streamline reporting workflows aligned with global governance standards. This role ensures data accuracy, visibility, and insights that enable effective decision-making, prioritization, and performance tracking of initiatives, pilots, and cross-functional projects. 

Descrição da posição | Responsabilidades

• Portfolio Reporting & Insights: Configure, maintain and update the Americas Innovation Portfolio repositor and dashboards (e.g., stage-gate status, KPIs, health metrics). Consolidate data from innovation and digital teams to ensure accurate innovation portfolio visibility. Deliver regular insights and performance summaries to leadership, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Support input to portfolio reviews and governance forums with high-quality reporting packages.
• Analytical data & BI Management: Design, build and manage and optimize BI tools such as Power BI, Excel, Teams channels, and internal portfolio / account management systems. Analyse internal and external data, building insights and creating interactive dashboards; transform data / information into recommendations and visualized decision-input; ensure data consistency and integrity across all innovation reporting sources. Support continuous improvement of data structures for innovation projects, strategic accounts and portfolios. 
• Stakeholder support & Communication: Act as liaison for country innovation teams and Innovation Americas, ensuring alignment on data inputs, KPI definitions, and data reporting timelines. Provide training and support to stakeholders on dashboards, templates, and reporting tools. Translate business questions into data and analytical requirements.
• Process Coordination & Governance: Support the implementation of standardized portfolio governance processes across the Region. Maintain documentation for BI processes, data definitions, methodologies, and reporting guidelines. Coordinate timelines and deliverables for portfolio reporting cycles.
• Innovation & Strategy Enablement: Identify data-driven insights that support prioritization of initiatives, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making to rebalancing the Innovation Portfolio and for new innovation areas. Support scenario analysis, impact modeling, and performance forecasting for innovation opportunities.

Perfil | Formação e conhecimentos

• Bachelor degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or related;
• Experience in BI tools (Power BI required; SQL; CRM);
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization best practices;
• Experience with portfolio management, project management or transformation frameworks is an advantage;
• Relevant experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, PMO, or portfolio management;
• Prior experience working in multinational or regional business environments is preferred;
• Previous exposure to Innovation, R&D, Strategy or Transformation teams is a plus. Consultancy background will be considered an advantage;
• Portuguese: Advanced to Fluent; English: Advanced to Fluent; Spanish would be beneficial and considered a plus.
