Descrição da posição | Responsabilidades

  • Drive Iteration: Ensures a hypothesis led approach to successfully iterate product ideas based on customer feedback, from prototype to product.
  • Lead with Purpose: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your assigned product or value stream.
  • Prioritize for Impact: Assess value and prioritize epics, features, and stories to ensure focus on high-impact initiatives aligned with product strategy.
  • Own the Backlog: Maintain a well-defined, continuously refined product backlog using effective user story and estimation techniques.
  • Plan Releases: Develop and lead product release plans, setting clear expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other Product Owners and Product Managers to align dependencies and ensure consistency across the Yara product portfolio.
  • Champion Agile Excellence: Understand and apply Agile principles deeply — not just the “how,” but the “why”. 
  • Remove Barriers: Actively mitigate impediments that could impact successful delivery of sprint or release goals.
  • Foster Collaboration: Promote a culture of open communication, peer support, and continuous improvement across teams.

Perfil | Formação e conhecimentos

  • Previous working experience as a Product Owner. Must have experience leading one or more digital products independently.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • English is a must, Portuguese and Spanish are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
