Agronomy and Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Ensure work processes and methodologies within the agronomic team in the region to ensure:

  • A thorough understanding of the needs of our farmers and the positioning of our solutions for each crop.
  • Implement and oversee agricultural practices that promote soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable production, while minimizing negative environmental impacts.
  • Implementation of demand generation activities in cooperation with Agronomy, Sales, and Marketing teams in terms of quality, quantity, and timing.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the strategy of the main competitors and positioning in each market in terms of agronomic and commercial perspective.
  • Provide clear strategic inputs to commercial managers from an agronomic perspective related to commercial aspects within the territory of influence.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate internal (agronomy, sales, marketing team) and external (distributors, farmers) training sessions to ensure the development of agronomic skills and educate about sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
  • Build and lead the internal validation of crop programs.
  • Coordinate the implementation of relevant trials for the region and ensure proper documentation of results in line with local processes.
  • Design, implement, and manage regenerative agriculture and sustainability programs in our agricultural operations.
  • Research and apply innovative technologies and practices that improve agricultural productivity and reduce environmental impact.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure that agricultural practices comply with environmental and sustainability regulations.
  • Development and execution of the marketing and media plan
  • Data analysis, market research studies to inform the marketing strategy.
  • Crop-based marketing strategy
  • Budget design and budget management (from acquisition to field implementation, performance metrics, CPM, cost per impact, cost per lead).
  • Event planning and demand generation activities (trade shows, seminars, conferences, online and offline)
  • Leadership in communications with design agencies and press.
  • Integration of demand generation actions in the marketing plan
  • Support to the commercial team in the adoption and registration of campaigns, visits.
  • Coordination of the demand generation plan by quarter and marketing plan, including digital marketing.

Profile

  • Education level: Agronomic Engineer or similar.
  • Language needs: Intermediate English required.
  • 3 years of experience in the agricultural sector, in roles involving crop technical support management, research, agronomic development, and product development.
