Field Marketing Specialist

Yara aims to be the crop nutrition company for the future and is leading the development of sustainable agriculture and digital tools to contribute to solving global agricultural challenges. We have a worldwide presence with sales teams in ~150 countries and around 17,000 employees. 

Drawing on over a century of crop nutrition experience, Yara established the Digital Farming unit – now Digital Ag Solutions (DAS) – 4 years ago to explore how technology could be used to impact farmer livelihoods and productivity. Today, DAS has built products for smallholder and professional farmers, retailers and other farming ecosystem stakeholders across Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe. 

We are an international team of engineers, scientists, researchers, designers and agronomists working together to achieve Yara’s goal to responsibly feed this world and protect the planet. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the field promotion of our digital product in Guangdong province.

  • Positively Learn and understand our product, achieve the marketing goals.

  • Visit users in the rural area, promote our product and train our target users to use

  • Organize and participate in offline event in rural area, introduce our product and collect feedback

  • Promote our product in an attractive way, encourage our target users to register and active

  • Keep good relationship with our target users

  • Communicate with our distributor, ensure the implementation of field promotion, and maintain good relationship

  • Track the conversions rate, contribute to the continuous improvement of user satisfaction, retention and advocacy.

  • Support marketing manager to optimize field marketing strategy, update user profile

  • Achieve company KPI, deal with the unexpected issues during field promotion

  • Implement & support other online to offline marketing activities, based on the general marketing strategy

 

工作职责:

  • 负责公司数字化产品及品牌在广东地区的在地市场推广,学习并熟练了解公司产品,充分理解宣传内容,完成公司推广目标

  • 实地拜访用户,宣传并培训用户使用产品(基本上都在农村地区)

  • 参加线下活动,给农民介绍数字产品并听取反馈

  • 为我们产品做有说服力的宣讲和推广,热情地吸引潜在用户注册及使用

  • 与用户保持良好的关系

  • 与经销商合作伙伴沟通,确认地推计划,并维持良好的合作关系

  • 跟踪已注册用户的产品使用情况,为不断提高用户满意度、保留率和拥护度做出贡献

  • 协助市场负责人优化推广方式及活动,完善线下推广体系,维护区域市场相关档案及数据库更新

  • 关注竞品动态、收集市场数据、分析市场状况,落实具体在地推广方案

  • 达成公司制定的业绩指标,处理地推过程中的突发事件

  • 根据公司战略安排的其他线下及部分线上运营工作,执行市场部规划的各项活动

Profile

  • At least 1 years’ experience in field promotion is expected

  • Good communication skill

  • Result-oriented.Ability to work under pressure. Strong teamwork skills.

  • Good business development ability, love industry, experienced in agriculture industry or having resources on fertilizer/pesticide retail channel are preferred

  • Be able to travel in rural areas frequently

  • Resourceful and able to solve incoming problems on the fly

  • Good speaker who can communicate in-market with potential users

  • Comfortable with working as an individual contributor and being hands-on and understanding of digital/tech products at a reasonable level.

  • Ability to communicate well, and organize offline activities is a requirement

  • Better to be able to speak local dialect
