Brand Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

The Brand Marketing Specialist will report to the Strategic Marketing Director, Africa & Asia.  This position will be part of the YAA Innovation & Impact team and has the following responsibilities.

Event management 

  • Manage and execute events and corporate brand positioning initiatives (including open innovation hackathons, regional conferences/workshops, launch & partnership events, corporate branding design etc)
  • Responsible for planning and executing events that support the company's ambition of Growing a Nature Positive Food Future and support the Africa & Asia region’s goals. 
  • The Brand Marketing Specialist will work closely with the regional/local Communications, Corporate Branding, Marketing, Innovation teams to ensure that all events and initiatives are aligned with the company's messaging, objectives, and brand identity.
  • Manage and see through all aspects of event planning and production, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and creative materials. Making sure about the quality of event production outcome and keeping to deadlines.
  • Develop creative and effective promotional materials for events and corporate brand positioning initiatives, including print collateral, digital content etc.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all events and initiatives are executed seamlessly.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of events and initiatives and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Corporate gifts development & management. 

External Communication

  • Manage and develop Yara Africa & Asia Linkedin account, with creative and attractive content. And to build content strategy to grow the followers in a healthy pace with targeted OKR. 
  • Leverage on social listening tools to conduct analysis on Yara Africa & Asia Linkedin account. 
  • Manage Yara Africa & Asia website.
  • Support on some content creation, like photo & video shooting. 

Internal Communication Support

  • Supporting on some internal communication projects when needed   

Marketing Support

  • Supporting on key marketing initiatives when needed

Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business/Marketing, Mass Communications with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Creative thinker with strong event planning and corporate brand positioning management experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience on Corporate Positioning/Branding campaigns and event production 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with social media management with tracked record. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Familiar with design software and video production is a plus.
  • Organized and creative.
  • Collaborative and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Keen on embracing technology. 
  • Resourceful.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under time pressure.
