Yara People, Process, and Digitalization (YPD) has the overall responsibility for Yara’s people and culture development, as well as for technology, architecture, and solutions that enable the digitalization of Yara’s core processes and operations. By bringing people and transformation resources, as well as process, digital, and tech capabilities into one cross-functional area, YPD is set to accelerate the transformation.

Digital Technology (DT) is a unit in YPD, ensuring a stable and secure technology environment for Yara, which is our license to operate. We aim to work hand in hand with regional Management to create the regional business transformation roadmap, as well as identify and drive the fulfillment of the technology needs of the regional roadmaps. We provide the technical expertise needed for various business and technology initiatives. DT works with several partners to provide support for daily technology tools as well as manage our infrastructure in Africa & Asia.

Responsibilities

Maintain an overview of the strategic Digital agenda for the Africa Asia region. Hold the direction, share the dream
Participate in the development of the business strategy, being a strategic advisor to the business and driving how Digital Technology can create value.
Analyzing the project portfolio(s) to assure a proper inventory and alignment between business & digital, creating buy-in & building partnerships
Working with senior management of the different digital domains to create a long-term strategic roadmap for the Digital domains in Africa & Asia to ensure the long-term sustainability of Digital overall within Yara.
Provides program-focused support to help advance organizational strategic goals and objectives - ensure integration of strategic priorities and alignment across the organization
Working closely together with business architecture to translate business objectives into digital initiatives
Assuring financial drivers & business cases of major strategic programs are consolidated in preparation of the business plan
Develop the department’s plan of organization and staffing. Follow up productivity & efficiency of all team members, assuring clear roles & responsibilities, stimulating personal development & maximizing employee satisfaction.
Be the driver behind the roll out of the e.nable program in Africa & Asia.

Profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
10 years of experience in IT & Digital domains, 10 or more years in diverse roles, and increasing responsibilities across the business, IT, or projects. Strong SAP enabled business transformation project experience is an advantage
Demonstrated experience in managing relationships and engaging business leaders and other stakeholders and experience across the full project life cycle, from initiative identification through completion.
Strong business acumen, including industry, relevant segment-specific knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to capture and explain goals and objectives to business as well as technical leadership.
Excellent analytical, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
Highly empathetic and able to apply different engagement styles to match the needs of a variety of business stakeholders
