Logistics Coordinator

Looking for an exciting new challenge? Yara are seeking applications for their permanent role of Logistics Coordinator for our Moree Plant. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Logistics Coordination is responsible for receiving and processing orders from customer. This position includes ensuring orders are processed in SUN and released to production or the warehouse. 


The primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide high level customer service and coordinate the collection and/or delivery of our fertiliser products and  hire tanks to our customers.
  • Carry our daily tasks in line with the standardized processes and procedures and ensure safety and quality requirements are met.
  • Process sales order, as required, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with critical stakeholders like Logistics, Demand Planning, Production, Warehouse, Commercial and Sales Agronomists to ensure stock is available
  • Address issues or concerns related to pricing, availability, credits, damages, pick-up and deliveries.

  • Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar customer service position 
  • Previous experience in similar supply chain environment is preferred
  • Self-starter, proactive, strong work ethic
  • Knowledge in regulatory and compliance requirements 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of commitment 
  • Proficient in systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in the use of our internal systems (i.e. SUN, SLX) and other tools and systems we are using (i.e. external warehouses systems)
  • Fluent written and verbal English is essential.
  • Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency. Temporary work visa holders are not eligible for this role.
