About Yara Poland

Yara has been present in Poland for over 30 years, focusing primarily on the distribution of fertilizer products for agriculture and gardening. Our knowledgeable team of agronomic advisors provides professional fertilizer guidance, enabling agricultural and horticultural producers to maximize the effectiveness of Yara's high-quality products. Depending on the product group, Yara holds a market share ranging from a few to several percent in the agricultural fertilizer sector. In the gardening fertilizer segment, Yara is a market leader in Poland.

Responsibilities

Accountable for statutory and IFRS compliance. Main contact point towards Finance EBS.
Actively participates in the daily finance operations related to YEU entities (e.g. AP, AR, MEC & reporting)
Main contact point for cooperation with Finance EBS and supporting in daily operations
Responsible for month-end closing reports and local monthly reports
Responsible for data collection supporting statutory and tax reporting to authorities as well as internal & external audits

Profile

Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent by experience
Relevant work experience within Finance in an accounting role
Good knowledge of accounting practices (Polish VAT/CIT act of law)
Proficient Excel skills and experience with SAP and Power BI is of advantage
High interpersonal and communication skills, curious, proactive, and solutions-orientated
Continuous improvement and development mindset
Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication
Resistance to stress and a high awareness of responsibility for the assigned tasks are necessary
