Yara Philippines has been supporting the Filipino farmers by providing sustainable solutions since 1986. Headquartered in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, we seek a Financial Analyst to help drive valuable business decisions for our core organization.
Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's financial planning, analysis, reporting, and control activities. This role ensures the accuracy of financial data, prepares management reports, performs business and financial analyses, and provides insights to support decision-making and business performance improvement especially on inventory process.
1.Monthly Closing and Reporting
Prepare inventory analysis for Inventory Write-Down and Write-Down Reversal Reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory valuation adjustments.
Generate and review the Inventory Listing Report, including reconciliation between the general ledger and inventory records, and analysis of month-on-month inventory movements.
Prepare the Value Chain Analysis (VCA) Report to support management review of business performance and profitability across the value chain.
Prepare the Business Warehouse Global Contribution (BWGC) Report and perform reconciliation of sales volume, revenue, and costs to ensure consistency and data integrity.
Conduct Waterfall Analysis by performing monthly comparisons and trend analysis of selling prices for premium products, identifying key drivers of variances.
Prepare Management Reports on inventory and credit days, providing insights into working capital performance and operational efficiency.
2.Business Planning
Assist in the annual business planning process with stakeholders
3.Inventory
Oversee and assist in the recording, processing, and verification of inventory transactions in the SUN System, including: Bagging of raw materials, Inter-warehouse stock transfers, Inventory withdrawals from warehouses and ports, Ensuring all inventory movement-related costs are accurately captured and recorded, Verification of goods receipt costs and supporting documentation.
Monitor inventory movements and controls to maintain data integrity, support financial reporting requirements, and strengthen inventory management processes.
Perform monthly/weekly reconciliations between system inventory balances, operational records, and sales records, investigating and resolving discrepancies on a timely basis.
Review and validate the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) of inventory to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost reporting.
Monitor inventory movements and controls to maintain data integrity, support financial reporting requirements, and strengthen inventory management processes.
Supervise and coordinate physical inventory counts on a annual basis (or more frequently as required), ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures and accurate stock records in accordance with Yara Policy.
Profile
- Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and understanding of company ERP: Sun6 System or any similar ERP
- With 3-4 years of experience in the related field preferably gained in a distribution or manufacturing company
- Good oral & written communication skills.
