Contract Management Specialist

About the Unit

The Facility Contract Specialist will report to the Third Party Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead management of all contracts, consignment and storage agreements  for BUNA in cost effective and organized manner to meet Unit business needs.
  • Negotiate all contracts (exception being Yara Owned Import facility/land lease contracts) to meet business needs of unit and support continuing operations in cost effective and reliable manner.
  • Develop and write contracts, coordinating with legal department on proper form and content to meet Yara Standards.  
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers of contract parties and new and existing service providers.
  • Take responsibility to ensure proper storage and handling of units products is set up before contract is executed.
  • Coordinate with HES and Quality for compliance and quality assurance program requirements..
  • Work closely with facility management to administer contractual requirements and hold contract parties accountable for performance, HESQ standards and compliance.
  • Organize, manage and  maintain contract portfolio for proper and timely administration, communication of costs and obligations, transparency and ease of accessible for the entire Unit.
  • Investigate and evaluate alternative terminal possibilities and new distribution opportunities as directed to meet business requirements.
  • Prepare market assessments for evaluation of new and existing sites.
Profile
  • BS Degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
  • Effective performance in leading business and operations, coupled with successful and consistent development history.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of operational requirements for all products
  • Highly experienced in contract negotiation
  • Experience in contract evaluation and legal concepts.
  • Stakeholder relationship skills
  • Solid Analytical skills
