Industrial Commercial Analyst

About the Unit
Yara North America is looking to hire a results-driven Industrial Commercial Analyst to support the Industrial Sales team in the day-to-day management of the business while developing and maintaining reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models that drive commercial decision-making. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and possesses a strong work ethic. They will have a passion for building collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, exceptional communication skills, and a natural aptitude for business analytics. They will take a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities, enabling more informed strategic and operational decisions.
The Industrial Commercial Analyst will report to the Industrial Sales Director and will be based out of our Tampa, Florida office with a hybrid work schedule offered.
Responsibilities
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and risks. Conduct market analyses and provide actionable recommendations to support business growth, customer retention, and strategic decision-making.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships, responding proactively to customer needs, and driving long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Partner directly with customer plant personnel to understand production requirements, align demand forecasts, and ensure product availability and on-time deliveries.
- Build a strong understanding of Yara North America's commercial, supply chain, and wholesale operating model while working closely with Customer Service, Transportation, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Logistics to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Health, Environment & Safety (HES), Product Quality & Stewardship, Finance, Credit, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve customer issues and support commercial initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, forecasts, and analytical models that provide insight into sales performance, market trends, customer profitability, pricing, and other key business metrics.
- Provide regular updates to leadership through concise written reports and presentations highlighting commercial activities, market intelligence, business performance, key accomplishments, and operational challenges.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve commercial processes, reporting capabilities, and data quality, leveraging technology and analytics to enhance business performance and decision-making.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-4 years of relevant on the job analytical experience.Proficient in CRM software, AI tools and MS Office Suite (SAP/Power BI experience plus).
- Understanding of basic chemistry.
- A knack for learning/managing operations and performing business analyses.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Information
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Should be available for occasional travel, as needed.
