Senior Manager, Head of DT North America

About the Unit

The Senior Manager, Head of DT North America will be a strategic partner of our Business Unit Yara North America (BUNA – U.S., Canada) to accelerate the digitization and efficiency of processes, leverage the business in a scalable and sustainable way, enable digital cultural transformation through the implementation of technological innovations and new management methods, also aligned with the global and regional IT strategy.

This role is based out of our Tampa, FL office and allows for hybrid work schedule. The role will require frequent presence in the office as well as occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Partner with the BU Management team and drive the BU’s technological roadmap, so it supports the BU strategy and prioritization.
Manage and monitor strategic IT projects ensuring the BU buy-in and value to the business.
Be the focal point for IT Governance in Yara North America, in close collaboration with the Regional Business Transformation Office, ensuring IT is delivered according to the agreed regional governance models.
Manage the technology budgets and deliveries for the BU.
Contribute to establishing a regional operating model and drive the transition towards a regional operating and delivery model for North America.
Participate in North America Management Team, reporting dotted-line to SVP North- America.
Ensure major regional and global digital transformation projects are successfully delivered to the BU (S/4 Hana roll-out, CRM/CPQ roll-out, etc.)
Drive delivery of BU specific projects in close collaboration with regional delivery teams.

Profile

Minimum 6 years relevant experience in Information Technology (SAP) and Digital leadership, including business process management.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen with ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Economics. Master's Degree in Business Administration is a plus. Long relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think holistically to "see the big picture".
Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
Drive to challenge established practices and processes when relevant/needed.
Positive to work and travel in an international and fast paced environment.

Additional Information

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and have a valid passport for travel requirements.
