Turnaround Manager

About the Unit

As a Turnaround Manager you will work under the supervision of the Site Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for realizing Business Plan Turnarounds/Projects in a safe and effective way. You will achieve this by planning, managing and supervising all activities related to maintenance or investment projects on site.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Turnaround Projects and take care that activities are being safely executed in conformance with Yara’s values & Management System and with legal obligations;
  • Organize the turnaround according to the Yara Standards;
  • Define the Project scope and corresponding Cost Estimate;
  • Determine the Turnaround team (Production and Maintenance);
  • Analyze work scope regarding costs and planning;
  • Organize and lead the planning, the scheduling and the realization of the works;
  • Lead and define project/scope changes, in close cooperation with the Project Advisory Group;
  • Organize the correct handover to Production/Maintenance department (including correct documentation);
  • Build relations with personnel within Yara Sluiskil, third parties, other Yara sites and the technical network within Yara International.

Profile

  • Technical Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Extended work experience in an industrial surrounding and a strong affinity with production and maintenance;
  • Capacity to handle complex problem solutions, good analytical skills and “hands on” attitude;
  • Good interpersonal skills with an open mind and high motivation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dutch;
  • Willingness to work in an international environment.
